Welcoming Kelsey Mills, our new Operations Generalist

We're thrilled to share the news that Kelsey Mills is joining Resend.

Today, we're excited to share that Kelsey Mills is joining Resend as an Operations Generalist, based in Vancouver, Washington.

Events at Resend are impactful for both the developer community and our team, and there are a lot of important logistics in making those special moments happen. We’re thrilled to have Kelsey apply her expertise in managing many moving parts and eye for detail to our upcoming offsites, meetups, and conferences.

How did you get into Operations?

I’ve always had a knack for organization and an eye for detail.

Looking for a job after college, with my communication degree in hand, landed me in an operations role. I thrive when managing a lot of moving parts, taking in new information, balancing tasks, and sharpening processes to make things run more efficiently over time.

I love making dreams reality. A friend once told me I get the "group" out of the group text.

What does your desktop/home screen look like?

I love a gorgeous sunset and the color pink, so I had to go with a picture from my most recent trip home to Michigan for the background.

Why are you at Resend?

Resend's attention to detail and overall care of craft is inspiring. They desire to be the best and to create a beautiful product everyone is proud of.

The curation of culture and community is nothing I've ever experienced. Each person is aligned to the greater group goals.

I couldn't be more excited to join Resend at this time of growth and scalability.

New places, experiences and cultures continually expand my horizons and creativity. I also find inspiration by the people I love, my family and friends. They continue to push me to be the best version of myself.

What is your advice for an ambitious operations generalist

Have confidence in your work and value.

Keep raising your hand and saying yes. You have no idea what opportunities lie ahead when you continue to work hard and show up well.
